Luca is a very impressive tennis and cricket player. He is a doubles semi-finalist at the Rod Laver Tournament in Queensland, Australia. He was selected for the tennis Under 14 Auckland team to play in Nationals last October but delayed due to Covid. In 2022 Luca is the under 14 New Plymouth Tournament tier 3 singles winner, Tennis Champ of Champs junior winner which is a tournament for all high schools in Auckland and also the Under 14 doubles winner Wellington Tier 2 tournament.
He is a member of Auckland Grammar Premier tennis team and of the Auckland Grammar Colts cricket team and plays for both Papatoetoe Tennis Club and Cockle Bay Tennis club. He plays in the Junior Caro bowl team for Cockle Bay tennis, and is the Under 15 Boys single club champ. He is captain for the Papatoetoe Cricket Under 13, summer series team – earning the highest score 141, overall number one MVP for batting.
Finally he was awarded the Ross Robertson trophy for pursuit of Excellence at the Papatoetoe Cricket prizegiving in 2021/22 season.
De La Salle Rugby League Team are Grand Finalist for Auckland Schools competion and this year they did one better and saw De La Salle crowned at NZ Rugby League champions, convincingly defeating Rotorua Boys 42-6.

Jasper is involved in the Southern Districts Hockey Club JUMP (junior umpiring mentor programme)
Every Saturday morning, he managed and mentored the juniors umpiring and coached the young new umpires as well as umpiring the older age groups in the stronger grades. He would umpire 3 or 4 senior games each weekend of college sport.
Jasper is also involved in the Premier Youth Boys team and the team player of the year and won the Contribution cup for the junior boy who contributes the most to the club, and was awarded the club’s Purple Pin award for 80+ caps. Jasper is also part of his school 1st X1 at Ormiston College.
Thalia attended the North Island Colgate games where she received 2nd place in Shot Put and 3rd Place in Discus. She went onto the South Island Athletics Champions in Invercargill and place 1st place in Shot Put. Thalia is the Counties Manukau Champion for Shot put and discus and broke the record for both events. Impressively, new records in shot put of 11.82m and discus 29.21m! She also competed in the Auckland Champions gaining a second place in both Shot put and discus. She also is involved at ‘Papatoetoe Rangers Intermediate A team’ who went throughout the competition undefeated. She is also a member for Livewires Netball Team at Auckland Netball Centre.
Natalia has a bright future ahead of her. She achieved qualification standard of 48.50 meters in discus for the World Under 20 championships in Cali, Colombia and selected for the NZ Athletics team to compete in the Oceania Championships in Mackay, Queensland where she placed first in the Under 18 Discus and Shot Put. She has had numerous competitions this year and some of the results are:

In May - Gold coast Invitational 1st Place
June Oceania Championships in Mackay, Queensland first place for Under 18 Discus and Shot put
August World Athletics U20 Championship Cali, Colombia 9th overall in discus
Impressively Natalia is ranked 2nd in New Zealand for Women’s Under 20 Discus and Shot put and is the current Auckland Champ in Discus and Shot put Under 20. She is Papatoetoe Athletics Clubs ‘Most Outstanding Senior Athletic of the Year’ for the 2021/22 Season. She is involved in coaching within the kiwi throw squad and mentoring and coaching athletes for her local athletics club.
Albert is a NZ Maori Under 14 & Under 15 representative Te Mahurehure Hokianga Storm Rep which were winners at the NZ Maori National Tournament in 2022. He is also a NZ Warriors Academy representative 2021-2022 and part of the NZ Tri Colours Rooster Academy.
Albert is in the Under 14 Auckland South Rugby League Rep in 2021 and Under 16 Counties Manukau Rugby League Rep in 2022.
At club level he is the under 14 Papatoetoe Panthers Player of the year and the Under 15 Open Auckland Championship winner 2022 where he was the captain of the Papatoetoe Pumas team.
Charles is a member of the Blues under 18s rugby team and a member of the Auckland Rugby under 18’s A team
He plays for the 1st XV team for his school Aorere College which he is the captain and also a member of the rugby 7’s team. This year he won Player of the year and won the Mealamu Trophy for ‘Excellence in Rugby’. He also is part of the NZ Under 18 Boys touch team. Charles is an excellent leader in rugby on and off the field and well respected by his team members and the staff at Aorere College.
Savannah is Ranked 2nd in NZ under 18 Heptathlon event which involves 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200m, long jump, javelin and 800m
She competed at North Island Colgate games in January this year – 2nd in high jump, 5th shot put and 4th in discus. Her Counties Manukau interprovincial Under 16 team placed 1st overall at the National Interprovincial Athletics competition.
Savannah competed in the Auckland athletics champs in Feb and won gold in High jump, 3rd in discus and 4th in shot put. And also competed in the 80m hurdles which she won bronze.
Savannah is the winner of the Papatoetoe Athletics Club Frost and Sutcliff cup – outstanding achievements outside of club nights

Savannah also referees for Livewires club competition at St johns Netball club and is a club volunteer for Papatoetoe Athletics Club.
